Cedar Ridge- 10th Graders...Carpe Diem!
Good Evening to all of my P.B.A.D.'s out there...please sign up and comment on my blog...I would really like to get this thing going this year. I have good news...my mom is going to sew up and fix the classroom bear for us over Thanksgiving! Also, I am very excited about having a fun, school appropriate performance for Julius Caesar...Toga Party (togas go over your clothes). We can even have a cool Roman food party, and I can show you how the Romans used to eat (reclining). Julius Caesar is actually an incredible play about betrayal, power, and loyalty to one's country. The cool thing is that it is based on a real, historical figure. We won't study it for a while, but I am getting excited! I am even more excited about Antigone; she is a great female protagonist; she is the daughter of Oedipus, the king who blinded himself. Learn more about him by studying Greek Mythology. I look forward to the school year with everyone!
Love,
Ikard
